1 Senior Consultant - Oracle Supply Chain Planning
Duties/Responsibilities
- Review client business issues, gather requirements, and prepare Technical and Functional Requirements Documents
- Perform application map and gap analysis and review the need for technical Reporting, Interfaces, Conversions and Extensions (RICE) need.
- Analyze business and functional requirements and evaluate options for delivering requirements using Oracle functionality
- Identify business and functional requirements which require development
- Design the solutions (RICE objects) and assist in the development of technical programming specifications
- Unit test the technical programs and help technical teams with fixing program bugs
- Work with business users to support new processes and resolve issues with existing systems
- Mentor and lead collaborative requirements gathering efforts, setup execution, and application test activities
- Work under the guidelines of the managers and lead the technical design efforts
- Work directly with technical staff, software vendors, and solution providers as needed
- Act as an advocate for the business community within the IT infrastructure
- Participate in functional testing of Oracle Supply Chain Applications
- Act as Technical/Function Software Lead for small-scale change requests categorized as maintenance activities
- Prepare Oracle setup documentation for functional setups for Supply Chain Applications
Required Background/Experience
5+ years experience as a functional analyst with ALL the following Oracle 11i Supply Chain Applications modules
- Inventory
- Bill of Materials
- Work in Process / Shop Floor Management
- Oracle Supply Chain Planning Modules :
- Oracle Advanced Supply Chain Planning
- Oracle Demand Planning
- Oracle Collaborative Planning
- Global Order Promising
- Hands-on experience with at least 2 full implementations of Oracle Supply Chain Planning
- In-depth knowledge of Oracle AIM methodology for technical and functional deployments
Major Pluses to have
- APICS certification
- Oracle Manufacturing Certification
